OUR THRID TRIP WITH GRACEWORKS ALASKA
Hard work. Holy ground
Every March mushers and their dog teams race nearly 1,000 miles form Anchorage to Nome. Thousands of fans from around the world come to watch the start.
Behind the scenes, Bara men build the course, handle dogs, work race security, serve meals, and tear it al down - sharing the love of Jesus with mushers, volunteers, and fans along the way.
We went in 2023. We went in 2025. In 2027 we're going back. Same mission. New men. Room for you.
"The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve"
Mark 10:45

Every job matters on race day.
HOW YOU'LL SERVE
#1
Build the course
Set up the Race Start that thousands of fans will line up to watch
#2
Handle Dogs
Serve as a dog handler, helping mushers get their teams safely to the start line.
Work Race Security
#3
Keep the course clear and the crowd safe while the teams run.
#4
Serve and Clean Up
Serve meals, haul gear, and tear it all down when the dogs are gone.
Every role is a chance to show Christ's love through humble service - and to start a conversation about Jesus.
Come home tired, full and changed.
Serve
Do the unseen work that makes the Last Great Race possible - and do it for Jesus.
Grow
Get closer to God, far from the usual noise. Mountains have a way of resetting the soul.
