Bara Church Family,

I’m excited to share our word of the year for Bara Church in 2025 – GRACE.

Grace isn’t just a doctrine—it’s the heartbeat of our faith. It’s the unearned, unstoppable, and always-available favor of God. Grace is what saves us, sustains us, and sends us. This year, we’re not just going to learn about grace—we’re going to live in it, lead with it, and let it transform every relationship, every response, and every rhythm of our lives.

We’ve already seen grace on display through Jesus' life, death, and resurrection—and now we’re going deeper. From the grace that meets us at the cross, to the grace that shows up in parenting, marriage, conflict, community, and calling—this is a year to be graceful in every sense of the word.

Our theme this year is simple and bold:

Grace: Receive it. Rejoice in it. Reflect it. Repeat.

Grace isn’t just something we get; it’s something we give.

It’s not a backup plan; it’s the blueprint.

It’s not for perfect people; it’s for people being perfected by Jesus.

Hebrews 12:15 reminds us: “See to it that no one misses the grace of God.”

That’s our mission this year—we don’t want anyone to miss it. Not in our homes, our church, our city, or our own hearts.

Because the truth is—we all need grace.

More than good advice.

More than second chances.

More than strength or strategy.

We need grace—God’s divine help and holy love at work in us and through us.

This isn’t just a word. It’s a movement. It’s a new way of seeing the world and one another.

So get ready—for a year of graceful truth, gracious community, and grace-fueled growth.

Because grace changes everything.

That all may know Christ,
