Bara Loves Uganda

One of Bara’s Core Commitments is to redeem in ministry. This means that we join God in His redemptive mission to reconcile the world to Himself and One another. One of the expressions of this timeless Biblical value is our participation in world missions and humanitarian efforts.

Bara Church partners with Children of the Nations (COTN) in support of their dedication to raise children out of poverty and hopelessness so they can become leaders who transform their nations.

Each summer Bara Church is sending a team to witness firsthand the work COTN is doing in Lira, Uganda.

The team going in July of 2019 is forming NOW! For more information, you can attend a Uganda interest meeting on Sunday, October 21st after the 11 o’clock Gathering, or contact Robin Nagengast at the information below.

Bara has the honor and privilege to sponsor our friend, Isaac, from Uganda through Children of the Nations.  The monthly support provided by Bara helps provide for his schooling, healthcare, and food.  To read about how Isaac, also known as "Junior", and his friend, Blessed Moses, started a library at their school in 2017, click here.

We'd love it if you would bless him with a note or any type of encouragement.  For information on how to write to Isaac, click here.  *Include his reference ID, UG-VP1-0016, when sending correspondence, please!
