We are all so excited to share about our BKids series, The Giving Season, which will start in November. This will be a three-week series in which we will be learning about different ways to give.

From November 5th-19th, BKids will be collecting food items for the Roanoke Food Pantry. We are teaching to give to those in need. Any nonperishable food item will be accepted, but the most needed items are:

- Canned fruit

- Canned tomato products (diced, pureed, tomato pastes, etc.)

- Canned meat products (especially canned chicken)

- Canned pasta products (spaghetti o’s, ravioli, etc.)

On Sunday, November 5th, we will be learning about giving thanks to those who teach you as we create small gifts for school teachers.

On Sunday, November 12th, we will be learning about giving love to those who are older. The children will be preparing for a visit The Isles at Watermere Southlake Assisted Living Center on Saturday, November 18th, from 10-11am.  We will spend time playing games, doing puzzles, or sharing special photos with the residents. This is a time for the whole family and anyone from Bara is welcome to join us there!

On Sunday, November 19th, we will be learning about giving encouragement as we hear stories from teachers who have visited Uganda and make cards and videos for sponsored children.

Each Sunday we will also have one BKids teacher share their testimony. We want the kids to learn to give testimony to Jesus!

Thank you, BARA, for your generosity and prayers for our BKids ministry as we enter The Giving Season.
